Welcome to The Madison Collection. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website, your purchase of products from us, and the services we provide.
By accessing our website, placing an order or purchasing from The Madison Collection, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. About The Madison Collection
The Madison Collection is an Australian fine jewellery collection specialising in lab-grown diamond jewellery.
Our collection is available to purchase online through The Madison Collection website and is also available to experience in person through our exclusive stockist, LeGassick Fine Jewellery on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Selected pieces may be viewed, tried on and collected from participating LeGassick Fine Jewellery showrooms, subject to availability and prior arrangement.
References to “The Madison Collection”, “we”, “us” or “our” throughout these Terms & Conditions refer to the business responsible for operating The Madison Collection and fulfilling purchases made through this website.
2. Our Jewellery
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information displayed on our website are as accurate as reasonably possible.
As fine jewellery is photographed under professional lighting and viewed on different screens and devices, colours, reflections, proportions and appearance may vary slightly from how a piece appears in person.
Measurements, dimensions, diamond weights and other specifications may also be approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where a product description relates to a specific diamond or gemstone, the characteristics and grading information supplied with that particular piece will take precedence over general website information.
3. Lab-Grown Diamonds
The Madison Collection specialises in lab-grown diamonds.
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with essentially the same chemical, physical and optical properties as naturally occurring diamonds. They are created in a controlled environment rather than mined from the earth.
Where certification is stated in a product description, the relevant diamond has been independently assessed by the grading laboratory identified in that description. Certification details, including grading reports or report numbers, may vary between individual pieces.
Unless otherwise stated, diamond carat weights shown for jewellery containing multiple diamonds represent the approximate total combined diamond weight.
4. Product Availability
Many pieces within The Madison Collection are produced or held in limited quantities. Some jewellery may feature an individually selected or certified diamond and may therefore be unique.
All products are subject to availability and prior sale.
Adding a product to your shopping cart does not reserve that product. A piece may remain available for purchase by another customer until your order and payment have been successfully completed.
In the unlikely event that a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options, which may include an alternative piece or a refund.
5. Pricing
All prices displayed on The Madison Collection website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us.
While we take reasonable care to ensure pricing is accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If an obvious pricing or product information error affects an order, we may contact you before fulfilling the order to explain the error and provide appropriate options.
6. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product subject to these Terms & Conditions.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied when placing your order, including your name, contact information, delivery address and product selection, is accurate.
Receiving an automated order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order. We reserve the right to review an order before acceptance, including where additional payment or identity verification may reasonably be required.
We may decline or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, payment cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any amount owing to you will be refunded to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available through our website at checkout.
Your order may not be processed or dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised or received.
Payments made through our website are processed using third-party payment providers. We do not directly store complete payment card details where those details are handled securely by our payment provider.
Additional terms imposed by a payment provider may also apply to your transaction.
8. Promotions and Discount Offers
From time to time, The Madison Collection may offer promotions, special offers, discount codes or other incentives.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions:
* are available for a limited time;
* may apply only to selected products;
* cannot be combined with another offer;
* are subject to product availability; and
* may be changed or withdrawn in accordance with the advertised promotional conditions and applicable law.
Any additional conditions relating to a particular promotion will be communicated with that offer.
9. Shipping & Delivery
We offer delivery within Australia in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Where complimentary insured delivery is offered, eligibility and any applicable conditions will be outlined on our website.
Delivery estimates are provided as a guide and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional charges may apply where an order needs to be redirected or resent because incorrect delivery information was provided.
For security reasons, high-value orders may require a signature upon delivery or other reasonable delivery verification.

10. Showroom Viewing & Collection
The Madison Collection is available to experience in person through our exclusive stockist, LeGassick Fine Jewellery.
Customers may be able to view and try on selected pieces at participating LeGassick showrooms or arrange collection of an eligible online purchase.
Showroom availability may vary, and a product displayed as available online may not necessarily be physically located at your preferred showroom.
We recommend contacting us before visiting if you wish to view a particular piece.
Collection arrangements are subject to confirmation. For security purposes, identification and proof of purchase may be required when collecting high-value jewellery.
11. Ring Sizing
We want your jewellery to fit comfortably and correctly.
Complimentary resizing may be available on eligible engagement rings in accordance with our current resizing policy.
The ability to resize a ring depends on its design, setting, materials and the amount of adjustment required. Certain rings, including some diamond-set bands or specialised designs, may have limited resizing capability.
We will advise you where reasonably possible if a requested resize could affect the appearance, structural integrity or setting of a piece.
Additional resizing or alterations may incur a charge.
12. Customised, Altered & Special Orders
Some jewellery may be customised, resized, engraved, altered or specially ordered at a customer’s request.
Once work has commenced on a customised, altered or specially ordered piece, change-of-mind cancellation or return rights may be limited.
This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to faulty products or other circumstances where consumer guarantees apply.
Where special conditions apply to a customised or altered order, we will endeavour to make these clear before the work is undertaken.
13. Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are handled in accordance with The Madison Collection’s Returns & Exchanges Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Any change-of-mind return or exchange offered by The Madison Collection is in addition to your statutory rights.
Eligibility for change-of-mind returns may depend on the condition of the jewellery and whether it has been worn, damaged, resized, engraved, customised or otherwise altered.
Returned jewellery may be inspected before a refund or exchange is approved.

14. Australian Consumer Law
Our jewellery comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy under Australian law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or any other policy published by The Madison Collection is intended to exclude or limit these statutory rights.
15. Jewellery Care
Fine jewellery requires appropriate care to maintain its appearance and condition.
Normal wear, accidental damage, impact, inappropriate cleaning, exposure to chemicals, loss, theft and damage caused by improper use or third-party repairs may not constitute a manufacturing fault.
We recommend regularly checking fine jewellery, particularly rings, bracelets and pieces with claw-set diamonds, to ensure settings remain secure.
Professional inspection and cleaning can help maintain your jewellery over time.
16. Product Images
All product photography and imagery on The Madison Collection website is intended to provide an accurate representation of our jewellery.
Images may be enlarged to show detail and should not necessarily be interpreted as representing the exact physical size of a piece.
The appearance of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals can vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings and viewing conditions.
Please refer to the measurements and specifications included in the relevant product description when assessing the physical size of a piece.
17. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that every description, price, image, availability status or other piece of information will always be completely free from error.
We may correct errors, update information or make changes to the website where reasonably necessary.
Nothing on our website should be regarded as professional financial, investment or valuation advice.

Where we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity, we may place an order on hold or cancel it where permitted by law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
You and The Madison Collection submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer legislation.
